Attrition Rate (A.R): Total Employees Left / Total Employees × 100
Example: 45/1500 × 100 = 3%
Yearly Increment of Employee = 10%

🔍 Four Types of Analytics

1. Descriptive Analytics

Like describing the problem to a doctor

  • Name, Age, Gender, Address
  • Last college name
  • Kinship Rule: Blood relations allowed in companies (preference-based)
  • Considerations: Discrimination, same company experience

2. Diagnostic Analytics

Statistics = The science of understanding data

Key measures: Mean, Median, Mode, Variance, Standard Deviation, Correlation

Statistical Tests:

  • ANOVA Test
  • Chi-Square Test
  • Z Test
  • T-Test
  • Null Hypothesis Checking

3. Predictive Analytics

Descriptive + Diagnostic = Predictive

  • Predicts who will leave the organization
  • Uses Machine Learning
  • Correlation: Relations between variables (-1 to +1)
    • Direct correlation
    • Indirect correlation
    • No correlation
Example Flow:
• Pratik left the organization (Descriptive)
• Why did Pratik leave? (Diagnostic)
• Heemani will leave the organization (Predictive)

4. Prescriptive Analytics

  • Suggestions
  • Remarks
  • Decisions to be taken
